Truffle Capital, an investor in Dietswell Engineering, is a European private equity firm originally set up for investments in spin-offs from companies active in the IT, Energy, and Life Sciences sectors.
- Dietswell Engineering, a Paris-based spin-off from Dietsmann (NL), is a leading independent provider of drilling operations management services, experienced consultants and state-of-the-art well-engineering solutions. The company specializes in complex design, rig audit, drilling, work-over and completion engineering. Its engineers have successfully carried out a number of projects in most of the oil-producing countries, both onshore and offshore.
- Following an investment of €3 million by Truffle Capital in 2005, Dietswell Engineering has further developed its international operations in target regions – Algeria, Venezuela and the Middle East – while pursuing an aggressive R&D strategy. This year, the company aims to launch the production of its innovative medium size drilling rig design. In January 2007 the company raised €18.1 million in an IPO on Alternext.
